As a duel national from both France and England, Charlotte tries to capture her love of her “other” country through art. Having grown up between Paris, France and Portsmouth, England and being bilingual since able to speak, painting her beautiful France (ma belle France) is a way for Charlotte to stay close to her French heritage whilst now living predominantly in England with her husband who is also a duel national, bilingual in Arabic from Jordan and England, their common language is English.
